About

Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that boosts collagen and elastin production while promoting cell turnover. It enhances the overall texture and tone of the skin, helping to minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, refine texture, and even out pigmentation from age spots or sun damage. We utilize the first FDA-cleared microneedling device, SkinPen.

Common Microneedling treatment areas:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Decolletage
  • Hands
  • Scars

How it Works

The SkinPen microneedling treatment involves three simple steps that activate the skin’s natural healing process. After each session, your skin starts to repair itself, appearing more renewed and rejuvenated over time. SkinPen is exclusively used in medical professional settings, providing dramatic results without the use of heat or chemicals.

The microneedles on the SkinPen device penetrate the skin’s surface, prompting a natural immune response that disinfects, removes debris, enhances blood flow, and stimulates the production of new tissue.

The micro-channels or tiny holes created by the microneedling device are filled with new granulation cells rich in collagen proteins. This process also promotes the formation of a new network of blood vessels.

New dermal tissues rich in collagen and elastin proteins form, enhancing skin quality and visibly reducing facial acne scars and neck wrinkles. This results in smoother, more radiant, and youthful-looking skin.

What to Expect

Most patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks and continue to improve up to 6 months. Immediately after the treatment you will notice a bright redness to your skin.

The total healing time depends on the depth of needles used, skin quality, and post-procedure products used. On average, patients may be pink for 1-3 days, but some heal completely in 24 hours.
